Bony Pelvis MRI

Bilateral bony pelvis MRI for arthritis, bursitis, labrum tears, avascular necrosis, and traumatic or pathologic fracture. Axial and coronal sequences cover the entire pelvic ring from above the iliac crest to the level of the lesser trochanters. Routinely performed without contrast.

Axial planning

  • Cover the entire bony pelvis from above the iliac crest to the level of the lesser trochanter.
  • Angle parallel to the femoral heads and acetabula.
